鎢鋼：成品中約含鎢18%合金鋼, 鎢鋼歸于硬質(zhì)合金，又稱之為鎢鈦合金。硬度為維氏10K，僅次于鉆石。正因如此，鎢鋼的商品（多見的有鎢鋼手表），具有不易被磨損的特性。常用于車床刀具、沖擊鉆鉆頭、玻璃刀刀頭、瓷磚割刀之上，堅固不怕退火，但質(zhì)脆。Tungsten steel: The finished product contains about 18% tungsten alloy steel.  鎢鋼與硬質(zhì)合金差異在于：又名高速鋼或工具鋼，鎢鋼是用煉鋼技術(shù)在鋼水中參加鎢鐵作鎢的質(zhì)料熔煉而成的，又名高速鋼或工具鋼，其鎢含量通常在15-25%，；而硬質(zhì)合金是用粉末冶金技術(shù)以碳化鎢為主體與鈷或其它粘結(jié)金屬一起燒結(jié)而成的，其鎢含量通常在80%以上。
